The Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus

One hundred years ago today … The circus was in town. The Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey VCircus had opened at Madison Square Garden on March 25 and would run through May 2. It would then move on to Brooklyn, 5th Avenue and 3rd Street. Earlier in April, the circus and its appeal had been the subject of an “Inquiring Photographer” feature in the News.
