The Times reported on Yom Kippur services throughout the c ity, including those held for the “hundreds” of Jewish refugees detained at Ellis Island, and more on ships full of the same.

The Times also reported that Rabbi Samuel Schulman of Temple Emmanu-El spoke out against anti-semitism, singling out Henry Ford’s writings about Jewish conspiracies.
