two Newspaper calendars

One hundred years ago today … the News printed its “patriotic” calendar on its back page. Each month featured an image from US history, an event dated that month.

The Brooklyn Daily Eagle printed a very different calendar. a puzzle, designed by Alan S. Foster, a game of find-the-mistakes. Those sending in the correct answers would get their names in the paper and be awarded credits. Credits for what? Unclear.
